WNEC Womens Lacrosse opens season with 16-8 Win

The WNEC Womens Lacrosse team opened the 2011 season with a 16-8 win over Mount Holyoke Tuesday.  Jeanmarie Barbato and Katie Toomy lead the way with 6 points, while Kelsey Daniels and Nicole Poli chipped in 3 goals as well.  The G-Bears play their next game Thursday at cross-town rival Springfield College to kick off a 4 game road trip.  WNEC returns to Golden Bear stadium on March 23 when they play Regis College in their TCCC opener.
