WNEC Hockey sees early exit from ECAC Northeast Tournament

The WNEC Hockey team lost to JWU 7-1 Sunday night, ending their season in their first postseason game since 2000.   The G-Bears kept it close for most of the game, being down just 3-1 after a Kory Grahl goal in the opening minute of the third period.  JWU would pull away after that, scoring 4 unanswered goals to end the game.  Eric Sorenson made 40 saves between the pipes.

WNEC ends the season with an overall record of 8-17-1, and JWU (14-11-1) moves on to play Wentworth Wednesday night in the ECAC Northeast semi-final.
