The WNEC mens lacrosse team improved to 5-2 on the year and 5-0 in conference play with a 15-1 victory over UNE Saturday afternoon.
Patrick White led the way for WNEC with 4 points (2 G, 2 A) on the afternoon, with Joe O'Keefe, Mike Santare, and Corrigan Harreys scored twice for the WNEC, 4 of 11 different G-Bears to find the net for WNEC on the afternoon. The only source of offense for UNE came on a Dan O'Gorman second quarter goal. Meanwhile WNEC goalie Brewster Knowlton was stellar in net, making 12 saves and allowing 1 goal on 31 shots face for the day.
WNEC faces Tufts, ranked #1 overall in the USILA division III coaches poll, on Monday and Salve Regina on Wednesday before returning home to face Springfield College on April 5th at Golden Bear Stadium.
