The WNEC girls lacrosse team remained perfect in TCCC play Saturday with a 18-1 victory over Anna Maria, as they improve to 7-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
Jeanmarie Barbado eclisped the 200 goal mark for her career as she scored a game high 4 goals, along with Kelsey Daniels who chipped in 4 goals as well. The two are currently tied for the team lead on the season with goals (34). Shelby Trebbe had 3 goals on the day, matching her total from the whole season going into the game. Nicole Poli had 6 ground balls and 3 draw controls to go along with a goal and an assist. The G-Bears outshot AMC 24-3.
The Golden Bears travel to Dudley on Wednesday to face Nichols College, with the two teams facing off a 4.
